"Avvantura Film Festival" founded by Director Sergej Stanojkovski , was the first international film festival being focused on European Co-Productions (artistic and economic) is taking place during the last days of Summer and its thematic feature enhances Croatian position on the European film scene. It’s gathering not only the cinema audience during the film projections but also the professionals participating at the creative Matchmaking Forum. The Forum aims to gather and connect film-creatives. Films are appraised by the audience an the international jury. Avvantura Film Festival presents Croatian and regional premiers.

AVVANTURA FESTIVAL & MATCHMAKING is the first Film Festival in Croatia since it´s launch 2010 to focus on co-productions and industry, initiating 2010 the first Film Office in Croatia. Under the patronage of Eurimages AMF collaborated among others on the programs of Torino Film Lab, held a Documentary Campus Master School, Organized "Scream" the first conference of genre film, presented EAVE program in Croatia, organized various training programs, panels, lectures and other events, and was partner of the Producers Network at the Marche du Film at Festival de Cannes
